DLD: Markets of mobility

(Viviane RedingRené ObermannTero OjanperaMarcus EnglertPaul-Bernhard Kallen.

Very lame. Too many big shots. Just a few things I noted:

Obermann said that personal media that you store is sometimes worth 1000nds of  Euros. I was wondering if in you insurance (Hausratsversicherung), like when your hause burns down, all your digital media is insured?

Obermann also promised 100Mbit Mobile Internet Connection and Reding wanted an European mobile data flat rate, which got her some applause.

There were figures in the room, that the EU has content worth of 1.7 billion witch will rise to 8.4 billion. I am just wondering how this is calculated? Production costs? Revenue?

Englert said that Pro7Sat1 will move from an aggregator to a rights owner and will create new business models around it.

And about the mobile web:

Ojanpera called “context sensitve web, not mobile web” and Kallen said we should invest more creativity into into getting the content to the device “right”. I think he meant “adapt the content idea to the screen size and user situation”
